On Monday, June 5, 2023, our group consisting of Rohan Shrestha, Roshan Shrestha, Rohit Shrestha, Diwas Pandit, and Dipesh Pandit went on an exciting journey to Bagdeu Jharna in Nijgadh, Bara, Nepal. The weather was scorching hot, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius.
We began our journey in the afternoon at 1 pm from our homes. Since we had three bikes and five of us, we took turns riding and switched halfway. The bike ride lasted for about half an hour, and then we had a short 10-minute hike to reach our destination. Along the way, we brought some refreshments, including a bottle of Sprite, Kurkure snacks, noodles, and water bottles.
When we arrived at Jharna, we were delighted to see children swimming and showcasing their swimming skills. We had also brought some snacks with us, which we enjoyed after our swim. It was an exciting experience for me because one of my friends taught me how to swim. We also shared some noodles with the children playing there, adding to the enjoyment of the day.
After spending a memorable time at Bagdeu Jharna, we headed back home. Despite the four-hour journey, we all had a fantastic time together, creating lasting memories.
